AFFORDABLE FENCE DALLAS

Fencing Options

Building a fence can add value and beauty to your home. One of the most popular materials used is wood.

The versatility of wood fencing is virtually endless; from the natural charm of split rail to the Victorian elegance of white picket and the quiet serenity of a privacy fence, wood is often the first choice for homeowners.

A traditional favorite, wood fencing comes in a multitude of styles and provides a natural, long-lasting fence. To ensure a long life for your fence, be sure to choose a rot-resistant wood, or a pressure treated wood.

Cedar is popular because it is naturally resistant to rot without being treated, and it is attractive. Pressure treated southern yellow pine and some red pine are also popular and are warrantied against rotting and decay. Other types of wood used in fencing include spruce, hemlock, locust, cypress, poplar, oak, and redwood.

Wood fences are generally used to either provide an attractive “frame” around a property, or to shield the property from view. Some types are also used for safety, especially those built around swimming pools.

Aesthetic styles include the rail fence, which consists of posts with two to four horizontal rails between them. Rail fence gives a property a ‘ranch’ look by using either board, round or split rails. Rail fence is primarily a decorative style, but it can be constructed to keep pets and children in the yard by adding a nearly invisible wire mesh screen behind the rails.

Another popular style of wood fences is the classic picket fence. Always charming, picket fence can add character to a property as well as serving a more practical purpose: keeping children or pets in the yard.

Finally, privacy fences are gaining popularity as property sizes grow smaller. These board fences shield neighbors from each other, providing a secluded back yard retreat and screening unattractive surroundings.

Rail, picket and privacy fences come in a variety of styles and can be personalized with lattice work and post caps. There are multiple categories of personal injury, and each must be addressed in its own unique way. In the United States, millions of people go about their daily lives driving their cars or walking down the street while shopping, travelling, and working. Unfortunately, accidents happen all the time, but that doesn’t eliminate the pain and devastation an injury can cause when it happens to you or someone you love.
